Deal Check: 2020 Nissan Rogue SL w/ Premium Package

,

Emailing with a dealer I’ve leased through in the past. This vehicle is for my wife, who wants an suv. I’m trying to get her the highest optioned vehicle possible, while remaining as close to $300 as possible. Currently, she has a Rogue Sport and we need a bit more room in the trunk.

Located in NJ.

This is the deal I’ve negotiated to this point. I can’t seem to get the numbers exactly right in the calculator because the dealer quote is $330 Per month w/ tax.

C’mon now, you can do a lot better!
Is the discount with the rebate or without it?

I’m trying.

If you’re trying to get another Rogue from the same dealer, you might have Stockholm syndrome.

You’re using all the default fee values in the calculator, so I wouldn’t expect it to match.

What drive off is the dealer asking with that $330 /mo quote?

The DAS is 1312.17.

I’m trying to determine all of the incentives my wife would qualify for. Below are the various incentives I believe she should qualify for, but I’m not sure if they can be stacked.

Zip is 08053

Customer Cash $2000
Rogue Bonus Cash $500
Nissan Lease Loyalty $500
NMAC Lease Cash $3300

Need some advice with regards to my wife’s current lease. When it comes to maturity in 2 months, it will be at least 17k under on mileage. Can this be used as an advantage when constructing a new deal or only thing to do here is check with Carvana and see if the value is greater then the buyout.

No, only buyout, and it’s a Nissan it just might have equity, no harm in checking.

Go to Nissan financial services, and check your buyout option, also I highly advise not doing another Nissan lease, ‘15 Altima owner here, ready to embrace the warm arms of Honda reliability. You could potentially hack a passport for this $.

Broker passport ex numbers. Including tax for NJ.

An LX and you’re there.

For the buyout, check with Nissan to get the buyout amount. Then, check with Carvana, VROOM, etc. to figure out if you have equity.

I am sure that you can do better than 10% off a Rogue or get a Honda (might pay a bit more but the quality is worth it).

Thanks for the input @volvo1 and @HersheySweet. Unfortunately, the buyout is $17,900 and the buyout from CV was $15,900.

My wife would really like to stay as close to $300 per month as possible. I’m trying to get her the nicest optioned SUV possible. She’s also a big Nissan fan. Owned an 07’ Altima for 10 years and the Rogue Sport SL is her first lease.

If I can’t find her an SUV in that range, I might hand her my 5 series and try to secure a sedan at $300.

I am sure you can find a Rogue for that much, but it will take some work. You just have to use the data available to get the most discount possible. Also, check Edmunds for RV and MF to clarify that there is up markup there as well as find all incentives.

@volvo1 I’ve check on Edmund’s for the MF and RV.

This is where I’m at:

MSRP - $36,805
Selling Price - $33,295
Term - 36/15
Residual Value - 51%
Money Factor - .00011
Incentives - $3800
Acquisition Fees -
Dealer Fees -
Government Fees -
Sales Tax - 6.625
Due at Signing - 2k
Monthly Payment with Tax - $311

9.5% pre-incentive. You can probably do better than that. Look at previous Rogue deals on LH to figure out pre-incentive discount.

Not sure why you’re trying to do this yourself when brokers in your area are offering less with next to no work involved

Plus you should be able to get into a Murano at that price. I owned a Rogue for 3 years and rented a Murano for a month. They’re not even on the same planet.

@DrHowe

  1. It’s fun to try.
  2. Brokers in my area aren’t offering less for a Rogue SL w/ Premium Package. I’m at $311 with 2k das. That’s nearly $50 less per month and 1k less das.
  3. I’d rather my wife get the Murano, but she doesn’t want a base model and I don’t blame her.

MUCH better Rogue deal linked below. And for that price you can also get above a base Murano.

The deal listed there is on a Rogue SL. I’m shopping the SL w/ Premium Package which brings the MSRP up $1800. You’ll also note the terms of 36/12. I’m looking at 36/15. Finally, ALN was who I reached out to and they offered $349 per month with almost $2900 das.

Well in that case I apologize for my naivety. I was assuming that the brokers posting deals here had to adhere to basic rules disclosing DAS and upfront costs.

No worries.

Hey, if your wife has Nissan Stockholm syndrome I can’t blame you. If my Alfa deal doesn’t falls through i can give you my Volvo V60CC deal 267p/m and 670 das plus msds. Requires Costco and loyalty, if no loyalty or Costco add 2k per each.

I’m bored as hell I’ll see if it had been done. We’re in weird times with inventory so things might not be doable, you life somewhere where a truck is doable?
