Probably assuming these lease poorly after the interior upgrades

Hi- the Quote I am getting from the dealer is 518$ not 580. I think 518 is still reasonably high.

Correct there were a lot of upgrades that my wife wanted. So in your opinion 518 is too high? The lease calculator gives me these figures.

  1. Use MSDs to reduce your payment. Plug your numbers into the calculator to see how much they can save you.
  2. The discount seems a bit low. Email multiple dealers and put them against each other.

$518 a month with $2150 down is the same as $580 a month

$518+(2155/36) = $577

This is going to be an ugly lease no matter what. You could probably get an E300 for a similar payment

E300 gonna be cheaper :grinning:

2155 is not the down payment. it the amount due at signing which include 1st month Lease + all the fees (Acquisition+Doc etc.)
I Hope my understanding is correct since I am new to the lease market.

Doesn’t take an expert to tell you to run away from this “deal”

That doesn’t matter. The effective monthly payment is still $577

Haven’t researched much into 2020 CLAs, but theres definitely cars in the segment that you can get much better deals on. I’ll scream Alfa Romeo from the roof tops all day lol. Best way to get better deals is to broaden your scope

Whatever you want to call it, it’s money you’re paying

$500+ a month for a super low end luxury Mercedes and only 7500 miles a year. Hilarious

Reasonably high???
You are getting ripped off. Most that car is worth to me is and a solid 300 bucks a month with absolutely nothing down. I cant believe mercedes has people paying nearly $50,000 for entry level cars these days. Absolutely insane.

Look at A class prices. They were in the $5-600 /mo range for the first month or two after they came out and then quickly dropped to a more reasonable number. If you want a CLA, best bet is to wait a month or two.

Thanks all for your replies and useful insights. Appreciate it.

Look into a broker if you don’t have time. There’s several good ones on here that work with Mercedes
