Deal Check: 2020 Mazda 3 Premium Hatchback (FWD) (White)

First time negotiating a lease the proper way, and I’m still learning and can def use more guidance. Here’s what I’ve got:

MSRP: $28645
Sales Price: $23825
MF: .00039
Residual: 54%
36mos/10k
Los Angeles and surrounding areas

Comes out to $306/month (incl tax), zero drive off.

This was my first offer, so I need to check out some other dealers. I think my big issue is I don’t know the sales price before incentives were added ($1000 lease cash, $1500 loyalty, and some others). There may be wiggle room there?

Please give me your blunt thoughts/advice on the deal and next steps. Thanks!

What are brokers offering?

You’re already ahead of where you think you are in this analysis, since you know what you need to verify next.

cough verify money factor and residual value from edmunds cough if all incentives aren’t there check auto bytel.

Sorry I seem to be coming down with a cold.

Sorry, should’ve clarified the MF and residual are from Edmunds!

And I have all the incentives from Autobytel.

Really just need to get others to play against this offer!

Broker got me $290/month with $1729 drive off.

Have you decided to move forward with the broker offer?

The broker is more expensive than the deal he worked out on his own…

The deal is pretty decent in my opinion. Better than what RODO is showing.

I was looking around to trade in my CX-3 for the Mazda 3 Premium a little while back and couldn’t get myself to do it. I absolutely love Mazda ('16 CX-3 and '19 CX-5) but at $300/m, there are a few other options, including Mini Cooper S that Are in the same price range.

Just my $.02.
