Deal Check: 2020 330i BMW - MSRP $46,295

,

Hi hackers,

I got this deal for a new 330i with $46,295. The MF is base 0.00118 but gross capitalized cost and doc fee look high. What can be done here to improve the deal?

You need the other page of the contract that shows how the gross cap cost is being achieved. Section 13 in this case.

Read leasing 101 including how to read a lease contract.

Thanks. I will ask for that. Other than that, does everything else look reasonable?

Thanks, I read that. Is it better to capitalize the $925 or pay upfront?

You’re at about 9% pre-incentive discount. There’s a decent amount of room for improvement there.

If i were you I contact @NurseAl or @nextlevelautobrokers for some good deals they got new cars and loaners for great price

The $549 of doc fee was capitalized in Sec 13. Shouldn’t it be around $80?

This is highly state dependent. Some states cap the fee. Others don’t. California, for example is limited to $85 but it’s not uncommon to see a $7-800 fee in Florida.

This is pure dealer profit, so factor it in somewhat into your negotiations.
