Deal check: 2019 Honda Passport Touring

,

Hi guys,
Go easy on me as this is my first post on the forums. So I wanted opinions on this deal. My current situation is I’m in a Nissan maxima lease with 6 payments left @ 406. I figured I’d get a quote on the car since the 2020 model is unchanged. The dealership came back to me with $2k das 429/mo including taxes and they can’t do anything with the maxima and before I walked out they asked if I could pay half the negative equity (1200) they would be able to keep it at $429 with taxes. Mf was .00225 with 63% residual. My Nissan is under miles and in excellent condition. Any advice or ideas? I know the negative equity tells me to stay pat but I also don’t know if passports will ever have any incentives come may/June. I know they change month to month but searching forums it seems there isn’t too much on passports. Thanks in advance and go easy on me

Edit: 36/12

If your remaining payments are 2400, that’s not negative equity. That’s your remaining lease payments and Nissan will ask for the 395 disposition fee.

If you take your Nissan out of the equation, the Honda dealer is basically telling you they’re not at their bottom pricing. Whether you take this deal or wait until June, you’re in the same boat.

Also post the MSRP and selling price. The MF is marked up. Should be 0.00215.
