I’m hoping to get a brief deal check on an offer I got today on a 2019 M35i. They’ve marked up the MF at much as they can, and they’ve included Ultimate Care +, which I had asked to be removed, but aside from those two issues how does this look (I’ll continue to work on those two items)? I was told it includes $750 lease credit and $1,000 loyalty, though I don’t see them explicitly mentioned in the paperwork anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated!
What did edmunds tell you for incentives?
Edmunds said $750 for lease cash, and the dealer said they applied $1k for loyalty
Looks like by the time you pull the incentives out of the discount and adjust for the marked up mf, you’re at 13% pre-incentive. That’s generally good for a new bmw, but seems low for a 19 X2. I’m also surprised to only see $750 in incentives offered. Are you sure that’s correct for a 19 and not just the 20?
Edmunds check says 750 in lease cash. Saw your Edmunds post, mf is marked up, ultimate care is fat too.

The 20s have $1500 lease credit, but 19s are only $750. I believe they just extended the lease deals for 2019s recently, as they were about to shut it down. I just asked on the Edmunds forum earlier today.
So if I were to get the base MF of .00118 and have them remove the $995 for Ultimate Care +, I believe the payment becomes $473 and the discount before incentives would be ~16.8%. With the full 7 MSDs the payment would drop another 30/month:
With the 20s having a higher RV and higher incentives, have you considered just getting a 20? You’re currently not sitting at a discount amount that would be abnormal on a 20 x2, so it seems like you’d be paying more for the 19 than a 20.
On the edmunds forum earlier today I was told the 2020 RV for 36/10k was 57%, 2% lower than the 2019s. Do you think it’s possible to get close to 15% off MSRP pre-incentives on a 2020?

There is some definite confusion going on here. There’s no reason why the 2020 would have a lower RV than the 19.
Someone mistyped/misread. My guess is that your numbers there are reversed.

No he is not wrong unless the edmunds mod made a mistake (very unlikely). Edmunds mod said it twice in 2020, and once in 2019 for each rv.

Those numbers are def inverted.
No way a 2019 has a higher residual than a 2020. Double check Edmunds. They’re human and fat finger things.
The 2020 number given prior to my ask for 36/12k was 56%. That’s right in line with 57% for 36/10k. I’m pretty certain the 2020 numbers are accurate, being given twice already. The 2019 numbers were only given once, so that has a higher potential to be human error.

I default to you and the contract says 56. But has a 3% residual bump to 59 wtf?
I just took the bump to mean that there’s a base set on some term length / mileage combo, and 36/10k qualifies 3% added to whatever that base is. It does seem odd though.
Also, I just asked for clarification on the 2019 numbers, so we’ll see what comes of that.
