So I am having to be realistic about pricing because there is so little inventory right now and need 4x4 for the winter. My company is paying for this, so I’m not as price sensitive as I might be if I was leasing personally.

I think I could do better, but I do like this option package and because my firm is buying this, I don’t want to complicate things for them by doing a nationwide search.
There also is a 15k mi option at $1,277.
Jesus… I’ve Seen Sport’s go for lower, but due to your WI location it could be the norm. Have you looked at other better options for the $ I know you said the companies going to pay for it so why not look at some fun stuff… X3 M, Audi SQ5 etc etc…
Regardless that’s only a 2.4% discount which is terrible.
$1200 for a velar?? You could get the sport for that price. Heck I think GLE43 would also be around this price point.
Have you looked into the velar SVR? Not sure the lease on those but if your going to be paying that much for a velar and don’t mind, might as well check the SVR version.
They actually have a sport for lower, but it’s as base model as you can get. I’m not trying to get into a velar for the cheapest price point, I’m looking for one with a good selection of options
I have looked at the X3M, and the dealer has one there I might have them quote me on. Might be a better use of money.
Gotcha - At this point I would ask for a bigger discount either on the Velar or a higher-spec’d sport at the same value. 2.4% is bad.
Speaking about X3 M it’s a better bang for your buck, An Highly Spec’d X5/X7 could be in that range as well, and if your into Mercedes, you could easily get a GLE580 or GLS, Even a Cayenne as horrible as they lease but it just preference what you want.
The forums gonna recommend the X3 M as it really is the best value for money, performance & style and brand.
I was one of the first in San Diego. And, parallel, a family member in Illinois did the same. Mine was $75K (S, Black package, with Drive Pro Plus), his was $85k (First Edition - HSE R Dynamic).
Both payments were around $800ish per month. He put a bit more down.
Bottom line, your deal is VERY high. It’s due to inventory shortage.
My family member was just about to put his on LeaseTrader. If you’re interested in assuming his lease (he has until May 2021 I think), private message me.
I don’t doubt that could be done back then. The difference between my price and yours is actually not that big, about 14k over the life of the lease and a 11k difference in msrp, so it doesn’t seem MISERABLY bad, but it is a high payment for a velar
