Trying to get my numbers accurate first, but any tips on approaching Honda dealers in DFW are welcome. I might consider a Chevy Blazer/Equinox EV as those lease deals look fantastic, too.
Updated my OP with more detailed target lease deal and calculator. Likely may send this to a few General Managers over weekend and see if I get any response.
I’m not sure if any tax credits are available. I believe my calculator assumes they do, but if not I’d need to increase the Sales Tax rate. I don’t have a solid understanding of how that works in Texas.
Perhaps I shouldn’t follow this thread because I may just find myself disappointed with the deal. I signed last week.
Honda Elite ($59,750 MSRP) $440/mo, 36/12 sign and drive. Honda also made my first month payment so effectively my payment is $427.78.
There was an additional $1000 in rebates I didn’t qualify for (new grad $500 and military $500) and I am certain there was still a little left on my deal. So had all the stars aligned, I probably could’ve seen a sub $400/mo payment.
This is my target deal, currently. It might be too aggressive and I’m in no hurry. I don’t have a few for how Prologues are doing in my area/dealers.
I can only base your expectations on my locale. I think you’d be hard-pressed to sign a zero down 36 month under $400 where I’m located unless you signed it with low mileage and incorporated every rebate available. This, of course, on an Elite trim. You can sign sub under $400 all day long on an EX.
