Maybe I should rent something for a couple of days. I used to have a F-type and remember being annoyed with it despite all the fun I had with it. Eventually the lack of basic features like parking sensors or even a backup camera made me sell it.
Look at the Porsche Drive subscription. It is $395/day to rent a 911 or $3200/mo. I don’t think they have any crazy models in there, but it will give you a sense if the 2-door life is for you.
Btw happy 7/18
Best day of the year since the other sports car day isn’t that great of a day and I can’t afford a 918.
911 Turbo or Turbo S (if you are worried about scraping, find one with front axle lift).
You could daily a Roma, but I wouldn’t want to put that kind of mileage on it. 911 will hold its value better with increased mileage.
I know this might be a little strange but the new Maserati Gran Turismo looks amazing
Based on the responses in this thread, the real question should be which ones aren’t daily drivable, apparently
The bottoming out of a 911 would hurt a lot less than any other exotic
911’s are not exotics tho.
So why not find and buy a low mileage DBX? They haven’t changed from intro. The depreciation is already there and if you can find a low mileage car with proper carfax from a reputable dealer, you have your ideal car.
They won’t stop depreciating
They won’t, but they won’t be depreciating 50k/yr. Every car is going to depreciate and @Fausterion appreciates they will. He rather it depreciate 20k v. 50k. Buying one used will get him closer to a number he can swallow for the depreciation.
I briefly thought about a DB9 because of the V12, then I remembered I would spend a small fortune on maintenance and repairs while hoping it doesn’t go to $0.
Just to use as a data point. Plenty out there, he can get it for a good price and it would get him something he wants.
To each their own but I don’t recommend catching falling knives.
Nobody wants these,

That’s got to be the worst depreciation of any exotic out there right now. I think it’s even more that maserati…
@Fausterion Sorry if this has been mentioned already – are you leasing or buying or open to both?
Why does no one want them though?
I’m open to either, haven’t seen any decent leases tho.
