I saw a fellow member’s deal, @28firefighter, deal on this Jeep Wrangler and thought I would do the same! Thank you again to @JBD as I ended up ordering two of them, one for personal and the other for business. I got one with less options for business. Below is my deal for the personal use one.

NH registration fees are high to balance it off but I can get temp registration for 60 days when I move back to NC officially. Cannot wait to leave the Northeast!
Well deal might change a bit as rates cannot be locked till car is fully landed on the dealer’s lot but GM said maybe $10-$20 difference AT MOST a month. Their rates aren’t like BMW it is locked unfortunately
I know I have been a broken record on this, but since the flurry is starting on these things I feel obligated to make sure everyone is aware of that no dealer can guarantee anything with regard to how the MF and RV might change month to month. They might be able to look back historically and make a guess, but no one can know for sure.
That said, these would have to ramp up significantly in the effective monthly for them still not to be a great deal.
Personally, my comfort level is high that the monthlies that are being projected around here now will end up being relatively close to reality. But yeah, if the RV drops a couple of points and / or they increase the MF a little bit, these could jump up $20-$30- $40 a month (or more). But that is still phenomenal for this car.
The MF is already a huge rip off at 4.87%. I can’t see that changing, but caveot emptor.
Resid might already be on the low side. Wranglers hold their value really well.
I’m thinking that given the high money factor, can I lease and buyout for cash almost immediately? I’d rather not earn 0.0001 % in the bank and pay almost 5% on a lease.
Question on the ordering process. Can you just walk away is terms change dramatically. Or are you truly locked in to taking the car? I want to say you can walk no?
Correct and if your total liability is only $5k, you only get $5k…not the full amount of $7,500. Leasing guarantees you will get the full amount as the purchaser is CCAP and you get it up front, not when you file your taxes in 2022.
