Anyone in southern Ca have any luck dealing/negotiating with Crevier in Orange County. They seem to have plenty of service loaners.
It depends on who you contact there. Some of their internet sales advisers are clueless and some will offer great deal. I know someone who got a great deal because they dealt with the right guy. I happened to email them and was in touch with their internet sales guy, who sabotaged the deal because he wanted $450/month on a lease when folks were getting close to $300-$350/month.
They are not easy to negotiate with, especially if it’s a loaner.
Yeah I’ve been in there a couple times and they don’t seem to be compelled to making negotiations. Maybe because they do well enough without it?
McKenna is by far the worst BMW dealership in So Cal - so Crevier isn’t that bad to negotiate with!
Like all others have said, it mainly depends on the person you’re talking to. I went in there once and the guy showing around all the cars was really friendly and made a nice talk. However, the guy that I was talking numbers with had zero interest in making a deal and made it seem like he is forced to work there. Had a really bad first impression there. You can try the Irvine BMW also if you like. Good friendly folks there.
What does this have to do with the price of tea in China?
I leased 3 cars from Crevier (2 I3s and 1 X1) and I worked on few deals for my friend/family (1 I3, 1 X3 and a 540i Msport). All from 1 awesome sales manager who no longer is there. =(
I agree with above that Crevier doesn’t have the best deals in town. In fact, your initial quote will be a joke or at best, it’s whatever is on their website. It’ll take mutiple emails just to get it down to 12% msrp. (you get 12% from bmw_dave all day long here) Most of the time they won’t play ball since they have people lined up to take their internet price.(new or loaner) Don’t even try to haggle the loaners, they won’t budge much.
However, I won’t rule them out completely for couple reasons.

They have a massive massive inventory which might work in your favor.
Say you are looking for cheapest MSRP(for cheapest lease pmt), chances are Crevier will have 3~4 of them when no other OC dealers has those base models. ie) I was looking for 2017 i3 for my wife and wanted a base base model. Crevier had 4 BEV with mspr $46k and I ended up getting it $215 tax included @ 0DAS 36/10k. Next cheapest i3 in other dealers were $49k as 2017 i3 were running dry. Crevier had 17 i3s on the lot. -
If you are local, being a Crevier family has some advantages. especially for i cars. Free charging, free carwash, free flex mobility. So for my 2018 I3S, I paid $8 more a month to save my trip to Riverside to take advantage of the benefits on my way home.
I personally will be using the brokers on this boar going fwd for BMW leases but i don’t want to totally discount this place if i am looking for particular vehicle
Non sequitur
FYI Crevier also owns BMW of Ontario though all the highly optioned cars seem to be in Santa Ana. Ontario gets lots of cars with minimal options to keep the prices down.
damn bro you make me feel like poverty for picking up my 2018 340i m-sport $57k msrp on sunday from bmw Ontario lol
Both are Penske dealers
I get my service done in Ontario. All the service reminder calls come out of Santa Ana.
340i Msport should be a great car. Enjoy!
Who’s the best for BMW deals on loaners/demos in the Los Angeles area? Pacific, Century, Rusnack?
It really varies. I’ve found that using a site like Autotrader is helpful for identifying demo inventory. I’ve helped a family friend find a sub-$300/month X1 demo from Sterling BMW in Newport Beach of all places. No negotiating needed; just leased it at the advertised selling price with max MSD.
McKenna was the worst dealer I dealt with. they lied to me about the MSD. I was told only can apply up to 5 and I can’t transfer my current MSD.
I like their service department but they were more expensive when it came to finding a deal. Irvine BMW is good, IMO.
The client advisor doesn’t make the deals, but the managers do. Client advisor is more like a product specialist who acts like a mediator between the customer and the manager.
It must be nice to be in a business where you can lie and do all the shenanigans they do, and still sell cars. Because at the end of the day if you want a BMW, 95% of these dealers do this.
If you’re looking for a demo 4 series, Pacific has over 50+ at the moment. Went there a couple weeks ago to pick one up
