Many are currently over 2%, it is a matter of who you want to deal with IMO. I think Marcus was at 2.15% the other day when I had looked.

Many people churn the Chase business cards for points. Ink cards are great for this: (my referral link Compare Business Credit Cards | Chase.com) easy to get another one every few months once you’re established with chase. $750 value for $7500 in spend plus the rewards points for the spend.

Amex also has some compelling cards on the business side. They all stay off your personal credit report which helps.

I have the Marriott cards from Amex (business version) American Express and the personal from Chase Marriott Bonvoy Credit Cards from Chase

Not seeing the $15k requirement to spend. It’s $1k for chase and $4k for Amex. Plus a free night on renewal for the business and the chase boundless.

No, not yet. Any experience?

As long as you’re slumming it at PenFed you might as well take their $500 (open a checking account you’ll never use and the AF is waived).

The card itself is a turd, so there’s that.

4x for travel looks pretty good, until you realize that it takes 7,250,000 points to get a roll of aluminum foil.

Are you registered as a card broker here on LH??

Lol, I like to think of it as a tip jar for a great recommendation.

PenFed certainly has a list of downfalls, but the payment saver loan offerings will always hold a place in my heart. I wonder if they will ever return.

Would not recommend either of them.

The boundless is better value.

its mehhhhhhhh
citi costco is where its at unless im missing something?

Im leaning towards IHG Premier or Hyatt. Those new Bonvoy cards would be nice if they offered a free night every year.

Hyatt is good currency and value for spending points. But Marriotts are everywhere.

OMG, I didn’t mean to imply that anyone should USE a PenFed card for spending after the sign-up bonus. :man_facepalming:

Costco card doesn’t do anything better than my current collection. (It is, however, a solid card for someone unlike me who won’t use multiple cards that together yield better results.)

I get 3.5% back at Costco on my Bank of America card. Costco Visa would pay 2% on the same purchases.

why not? the penfed gas card is incredible at 5% and the 2% power cash card is an excellent all-arounder.

There is no such card that’s available for new applications, but regardless, Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards with the “3%” category set to Gas pays 5.25% back (with relationship).

Bank of America Travel Rewards card pays 2.625% on everything (with relationship). No annual fee.

That’s more than 30% more rewards on every purchase.

Some INKs get 5x at gas stations
