The grocery/restaurant part is but 10% on gas.
This is on our Amazon Prime Visa, but I also received a 10x miles offer for gas on a United Airlines card.

FWIW, I had opened two chase accounts (checking & savings) recently for the bonuses. I believe the checking required xx amount of direct deposits within ~90 days to receive a $200 bonus. The savings you had to deposit a minimum of $15k within xx days to receive the ~$300 bonus. If you meet both of those, you’ll receive an additional $100 bonus ( obviously a grand total of $600). I did a Capital One checking earlier this year as well, but I don’t recall that offer (and it has since expired).
Citi’s been bombarding me with bank account bonus offers.
You might turn over that stone, if you haven’t already.
Ha! Funny you say that, as I have been eyeing Citi as well.
you can close the chase account and after 6 months i believe churn that offer again LOL
ive done it 3X
Interesting - that would a bit odd.
" * Offer not available to existing Chase checking customers, or those whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance within the last 3 years. You can receive only one new checking account opening related bonus every two years from the last coupon enrollment date and only one bonus per account. Coupon is good for one-time use."
probably updated recently everyone was abusing it
the citi one is every 6 months
easy 2k bonus
You have to park a minimum of $299k for 60 days, i believe for the top chase bonus.
Edit: I meant Citi bonus. I’ve got too many things going on lolol
60 days for 2k
penfed gives me 1.50% apr currently
Lots of banks are close to 3% now for MM accts
Dollar Savings Direct is at 3%.
Citi Premier Card is 80K points with 4K spend in 3 months. It is redeemable for cash back so its worth $800 back. $95 annual fee which they will charge you after first bill cycle so you net $705 dollars. Has some perks too.
This is one of the best nets back without doing much work at all. Had been waiting for a $700-800 net gain and its been a bit.
I signed up for that a week or so ago. I agree it is a good value with minimal effort.
Anyone have any experience with them?
I am about to have my first one.
Several months ago I got a bonus 2.0% APY from SoFi (that astonishing rate requires direct deposit )
I thought I’d won the Game of Life.
Now I need to move this somewhere else; I’m not usually a yield chaser for small increments, but SoFi isn’t keeping up.
In your defense, account offers have taken quite a turn recently. 2.0% was a great at one time.
Dollar Savings Direct has sparked my interest though.
Question for the business owner hackers here. I recently formed an LLC (for some investments, no employees or anything) and already got a sweet welcome promo from Amazon Prime Business for the LLC. Are there any business credit cards that I can take advantage of now that I own an LLC?
Does anyone have a preference/recommendation on hotel branded cards? Im leaning towards the IHG Premier and Hyatt. I wanted to go with the Marriott because my brother basically lives in one but the new cards require $15k spend for a free night. I was thinking I could status match the IHG to Bonvoy.
I believe Marcus is over 2%, 2.17% I believe
