Courtesy Lease 2021 BMW 228i xDrive Deal Advice

,

Looking at leasing a courtesy 2021 BMW 228i xDrive with about 4k miles on it from a dealer in TX.

The lease would be 3 years 36k miles. Dealing is quoting me monthly payment of $536…

I just got back the first initial quote and seems like a bad deal and wanted to confirm with the experts and also see where I might be able to push them.

MSRP: $40,345.00
Discounted Price: $37,355.00 (tax title not included in this)
MF: .00136
Residual: 57%

I know the market is a bit interesting right now and one shouldn’t expect the mythical 20% discount, but it seems like they are only discounting the car about 8-9%. Also the MF seems a touch high from what I’ve seen other ppl get recently but that I’m not positive on that.

So with all that said, I was thinking of pushing back and aiming for a higher discount. I also don’t think they included any current lease cash incentives going on right now which should drop it another $1000.

Anyways, I’d appreciate any advice and to get other ppls thoughts and see if it’s even worth my time because no way would I rent a loaner 2 series with 4k miles for 500 a month, that’s just crazy to me.

Thanks in advance!

No bueno. Send me the offer and I’ll see if I have something.

The BMW loaner in my area can be only 5.5k miles some kind Covid policy :O. The quote you got is pretty generic. The best one I got so far $510. Nothing is down, no MSD and stuff

This is essentially a full MSRP deal on a loaner by the time you account for the missing incentive (which is just rolled into the selling price), the mf mark up, and the rv hit for being a loaner.

Yea I guess they discontinued the the MSD it sounded like.

In NY yes.

228i is not an in demand vehicle, you should be able to get a higher discount. Reach out to IAC.
