I’m trying to target a 2024 Dodge Daytona Scat Pack. I’ve used rate finder to find the following numbers:
24/12k
59% residual
0.00011 money factor
$595 inception
$15500 in incentives including loyalty and employee cash. I also have a private offer code for $1000, but I’m not sure if it’s stackable so I left if out.
I’m looking at several units with an $82,175 MSRP.
Is 18% off ($67384 selling price) a reasonable initial offer? I’ve seen more McLarens on the road, and literally have never seen a Daytona. I keep reading about how “they don’t sell” and have “huge markdowns” but have yet to see that in practice.
With these numbers and 7% tax, I’d be $250/month sign and drive. I’ve seen others on here lower including the $102/month, but I believe that was a loaner. I am not interested in spending a ton of extra time getting every last penny out of the deal, but I also don’t want to get taken. My last offer after just looking at a listing that showed $18,000 “dealer discount” turned into $0 dealer discount when I inquired about it and $1000/month for 24/10k which is robbery.
You need to find a dealer willing to apply maximum BEV incentive coupons, they can only do this if you qualify for affiliate. To get into the $100 range you need a 10% discount and $5000 in coupons. I would just suggest you use a broker.
Can I search by brokers that specialize in Stellantis vehicles (who I hope aren’t starving right now)? Most of my leases I’ve done out of state as Indiana, and the Midwest in general, is terrible for most leases. I’ve always picked up or shipped.
Are these coupons dealer specific that they can apply if they want to, or are there other requirements other than they like the cut of my jib?
By the way, I know the downsides of the car. Overpriced (which I’m hoping to overcome), big and heavy which I don’t mind, and low range/slow charging which won’t be a detriment in my situation.
My max discount this month was 9.01% off before incentives and coupons on a 2025 Scat Pack and that was from a pretty motivated dealer. I believe it was a $67,501 sales price including the coupons so $72,501 before. $79,680 MSRP. I’ve shopped that quote everywhere and nobody will touch it for whatever reason.
TDM/Private offer codes should be stackable. You’re not getting a $595 bank fee. $995 seems to be the going rate but I did have one dealer offer me $899 so there does seem to be some wiggle room. Depending on your region a 2025 might be the better target. The 2025 in the Northeast region has an extra $2,000 in Affiliate rebates that they took away from the 2024 this month. It’s worth comparing the model years.
What are you targeting before the coupons? My experience is that the 2025 program is more conducive this month to a deal. Last month it would have been the 2024 for me.
Yes. It wasn’t “slow,” but I’m used to a bit more urgency after some pretty quick cars the last few years. This will definitely be a change, and it’s a foot longer and 2 inches wider than my wife’s Grand Cherokee 4xe. We are also looking for another one of those in the next 30 days, so maybe I can leverage that.
I was able to do 194 with 194 at signing in the Northeast but that requires a 79,690 MSRP, $17,500 in Northeast rebates and 5k in dealer coupons with 9.01% in real dealer discount.
Most dealers who have these in stock received coupons to help sell these cars. They are worth $1000 each and they are allowed to apply up to 5 per deal on a Charger.
