Costco Volvo May 1-June 30th

Do we think the 2026 model year is going to be 800V? Charleston is going to make the 800V ES90 and Volvo could use the economies of scale for the EX90/PS3.

Even though it is not advertised, you get Costco incentives on S90s too. If you can find one, there are some sweet deals on the S90s out there. You can get an Ultra B6 for under 500 sign and drive with full MSDs, loyalty and A-plan.

you do not, no.

Ok, then the dealership is lying to me

ES90 is being made in China. I have not seen any plans to move production to Charleston.

they are. the post you made above is wrong.

Seems like Hanlon’s razor might apply here - Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

A salesman told you something which is probably wrong. I am guessing he didnt think it was wrong. But unless you have a signed and funded contract showing the rebate than the above is the simplest explanation.

test drove both, ended up getting the xc40 recharge in 2023. the c40 has REALLY bad rear visibility. like laughably bad.

Like Camaro bad or Boxster bad?

You are correct. But I personally think the C40 is the sexier looking car. With that said, I leased the XC40 because I needed the slightly bigger cargo space.

Both cars drive amazing. May just buy the car at the end of the lease and drive it until another great lease deal comes up.

The 2025.5 XC90 T8 plus is solid if your rebates (Costco executive, affinity) line up well. No, it’s not ABA pricing, but good enough for me to snag one and make my wife happy with the refreshed design.

What’s the best case scenario for the rebates to stack up on XC90?

Costco executive ($1250), Conquest ($1000), and Affinity/Aplan ($500) on top of all the standard Volvo rebates. This can push you over 13k in total rebates, and a hacker score around 10. Solid in my opinion for a brand new refreshed design.

LH calculator does not allow Costco + affinity/a-plan stacking.

It’s wrong. They stack.

Volvo Conquest is such a rag tag mix of competitors…

Acura, Audi, BMW, Jeep, Mazda, or Subaru

Agreed. I’m sure it’s what their market research shows as brands their target customer chooses between. Quite the mixed bag…

Sounds like the mix of cars you see driving through affluent suburbs between Boston and DC. They know they aren’t targeting the full size pick up or body on frame SUV set.

That’s good to know. I have Affinity D - ABA, and I thought that it did not stack with Costco. That my change some negotiation.

Costco is primary pin. Affinity is secondary pin.

Here is my deal on a 2025.5 XC90 T8 plus pre-tax if it’s helpful. Numbers may not be perfect, but it’s close.
