Missed epic Chevy Cruze deal last year. Hope to see similar deals again this year.

Copy and pasted from terms and conditions:
You must be a current Costco member as of Sept. 30, 2016, to be eligible for the GM Holiday Sales Event.

So I guess this means those who haven’t already signed up for membership will not be eligible?

No Volt eligible. :frowning:

It says in the offer disclaimer “Purchase”.
Thought it doesn’t explicitly exclude lease.

I read somewhere in the FAQ section that this includes leases also.

It does. I leased a Cruze last year via the Costco program. Got the $700 gift card and everything.

So what’s the popular model for this round of leases?

It is not clear yet. people are waiting for each other to see who can get a good deal. Looks like GMC Yukon is on the horizon now.

If you live in Texas, there is varying extra lease cash for all GM models. Don’t know why.

Yep. Just wanted to make sure it was the same exact program as last year.

I don’t expect Chevy Cruze to be the same fire sale as last year since it was just before the new version came to the lots.
But I think may be Chevy Trax or Buick Encore may do the trick. These car have not changed in awhile.

Or the Equinox, since the Gen 2 Equinox was recently unveiled.

True.
Although it is interesting to see that right Chevy offers 20% off MSRP on select cars, unfortunately, for buy only. Seems to exclude leases. But nonetheless, even redesigned 2016 Chevy Cruze can be bought for 20% off MSRP like this one
2016 Chevy Cruze - 20% off MSRP
Just need to wait for this promo to include leases.

Here is the boys of the email I received…

Please refer to Promotional Rules for full offer disclosure and to learn how you can take advantage of all offer benefits.

Regarding the selling price of this vehicle:
MSRP= 36705.00
Inv = 35924.81
Supplier= 35229.00$
MY SALE PRICE = 34317.00$

Above is a price quote I get for a malibu premier,
So, can I assume that supplier price is not the best price, actually you can get lower price than the supplier price?

Not sure if the costco offer is available with the lowest selling price you can negotiate or supplier price only?

The dealer can discount below supplier price and still use this promo. I did it 3 times last year and leased a Cruze Limited and two Encores.

Thank you for the link.
This was the first place where it was clearly stated

Purchase or lease an eligible, new 2016 or 2017 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac model between Oct. 1, 2016, and Jan. 3, 2017

Just an FYI, several more models have been added to this promotion including Volt, Corvette, Impala, SS and a few more Buick models.

Nice. Hope someone didn’t pull the trigger prematurely. Perhaps Costco could retroactively get a customer a cash card if they bought a non-qualifying model earlier.
