Just saw this posted on the Costco Auto site

8% + incentives

Looking forward to seeing how these hacks start to roll in!

I’m curious if this is 8% given to the dealer on top of dealer discount or something else?

In California, it is showing up as 10% plus rebates. Appears to only be for Q5, Q7 and A6 models.

In Michigan:

8% off MSRP on Audi A3 sedan, A4 sedan, A5 Sportback, A6, Q5 and Q7 (excluding RS models)

Also:

Please note: This incentive excludes California residents.

This does not look like a very good deal for SoCal Q5. Was getting quotes last month for 13.5% off P+ and more for P before any incentives.

It says off of MSRP so I doubt dealer can go lower once you print your certificate.

It does say 10% off + “publicly available incentives for which you qualify” but I wonder if dealers will stop there or if you can still negotiate a price before presenting this Costco offer

I take that as $1k of Summer of Audi they are giving. Still well below what you can get from dealers. This is for people who don’t want to negotiate and don’t understand RV and MF.

I got offers for a Q5 at about 16% off msrp without trying too hard just about 3 weeks ago. 2019. The Costco deal does not look to be a good deal unless the dealers offer extra discounts on top of instant 8-10% Costco shows.

This isn’t a stackable percentage off. 10% off the bat is pretty good without negotiation. I think we all forget time to time leasehackr deals aren’t the norm.

Just out of curiosity what is the MF and RV on the Q5 in SoCal 36/10?

Sound like it is stackable with some incentives but not others: It says 10% off MSRP "Plus, publicly available incentives for which you qualify"
but
To qualify for the Audi Limited-Time Special, you must: 1) be a current Costco member by July 1, 2019; 2) register with the Costco Auto Program online or through its call center; 3) present your personalized 8-digit alpha-numeric authorization number to a participating dealership at the time of visit; and 4) purchase or lease an eligible, new 2019 or 2020 Audi A6, Audi Q5, and Audi Q7 (excluding RS models) between July 2, 2019, and Sept. 3, 2019. Audi Limited-Time Special of 10% off MSRP is only available to Costco members purchasing in California. This Limited-Time Special is not compatible with some Audi programs and incentives including: 1) corporate sales; 2) VIP; 3) courtesy vehicle; and 4) dealer small fleet incentives. Authorization numbers are not transferable. Valid only through participating dealers. Dealer sets actual price. The Costco Auto Program purchase price under this program excludes tax, title, license, dealer-installed options, accessories and dealer fees. Valid only to whom the unique offer is addressed. Vehicles sold in the name of a business will be verified against the primary purchaser’s driver’s license to ensure eligibility. Only one offer per VIN will be accepted and the combination of multiple Costco offers is prohibited.

I’ve always been able to beat Costco lease price by over a thousands, so much so that I don’t even bother getting quotes from them anymore. If you’re a beginner hacker, it’s not a bad idea to have one in your pocket for comparison purposes–other than that Costco Auto will follow up repeatedly-but when you get better offers from dealers on the same equipment you’ll know at least your not getting hosed.

Not stackable? It says: " 10% off (8% off non California) + “publicly available incentives for which you qualify” , so may you elaborate why no stackable? This month especially for Summer of Audi…

The incentives/rebates will stack with the promotion. I meant in the sense you will not get 10% off from Costco, and another 10% from the dealership.
