Came across a news source that 5500 stingrays are sitting on the lot unsold - with manufacturer advertising dealer markdowns of up to $14,502 on their website. I’m curious if the e-ray will join Taycan numbers in a year.
Mf is atrocious, leaving the monthly 900+/month still
I mean- Japanese leases used to be like that. Not to mention Porsche. I’m welcoming this new waive of inflated residuals- everyone going BMW route at some point. Some cars though are a one time thing- glad I had a chance to garage an Ftype and Ghibli for $418 a month about a decade ago with the boys.
Hopefully another month of bad sales and they drop their mf . Wouldnt mind these closer to 600ish or lower of course
Plus 2750/3k off for Costco members which applies to both lease and financing. Not sure it really makes sense to lease these though. If you get it 15% off plus Costco it’s not going to be worth like 35k in 3 years and 30k miles
But you’re still driving a Corvette.
And that’s a good thing, right?
@mani_is_kool , when are you going to share with us that sweet vette lease you’re working on?
Not until you see that 530e post update to sold
On a serious note, feels like these will be pushed out through second quarter unless GM wants to dump these puppies in the middle east or 3rd world country politicians.
I think GM order banks for the coming year open in May or June.
any memberships you would recommend purchasing, just incase ? =P
You’ll want a Camaro to get that extra Camaro rebate.
I like sleeping in my own home lol. I was trying to avoid that rebate haha
Wow, the drop off came real quick. Traded in my 2022 C8 Corvette Z51 for a 2017 Shelby GT350 last month after only 6 months of ownership. Car was cool looking and fun to drive, but the values tanked once GM started offering employee discount and rebates. Luckily I traded in for only $1500 less than what I bought for, but seeing the new ones for $15k off reaffirms my decision.
How do you like the GT350 compared to the C8? Love the Voodoo but the oil starvation stuff scares from getting another one.
Love the GT350, it’s my 2nd one, had a 2016 track pack few years ago that I sold due to transmission grinding issues. To me, much more fun and livelier car to drive than the Corvette. The C8 is blistering fast, but feels like a robot, not much personality and too quiet on the inside. Great car though, I would get one again in 10 years or so.
Yup. There goes the hack !
You can still wear the jorts though, social media can never take that away from you.
Return to the mean. I remember corvette craziness was like post covid housing for a minute.
