Coronavirus effects

Yes, SW has no change or cancel fees. As @cndnbkn stated, you can cancel up to 10 minutes before your flight and the funds stay under that booking number as travel funds. You have a year from the date of original booking to use those funds towards any future flights.

I have a flight to ski on sat morning and drive ow back on Sunday. Maybe I should drive up Friday and come back Sunday…

Went to local Costco yesterday and saw 10+ people in masks. Someone was even in a beekeeper-like hat, wish I had taken a picture.

I get the sanitizer and Clorox wipes, but what’s with the toilet paper hoarding. People here in OC are taking CYA to a whole new level :joy_cat:

Regarding lease miles…I dunno. I WFH and travel for client meetings, that’s what allows me to take advantage of lease programs. Now that I’m home, I might be racking up more miles

I agree, but since they didn’t have a confirmed positive result, and recommended they stay at home, its unfortunately not a crime. Its just poor judgement, and a sign of their stupidity and care for others.

After receiving a positive result, they could and should be charged w/ reckless endangerment.

Your coughing worked.

I love Zoom. I am vehemently fighting my companies attempt to switch to Teams for video.

Ahhh Turks and Caicos. Visited last year and I hate to say it it’s not what is used to be before the hurricane. Anyway, enjoy your stay, I love that island.

I think this will just lead to more parties and drinking hence more contact with people, what else will college students do with no classes to go to?

I’m guessing a bunch of unexpected babies at the end of the year/beginning of next.

That logic can work for a lot of people suddenly working from home

I am supposed to pick up my M4 at the BMW performance center in Spartanburg early next month and they cancelled all factory tours for the foreseeable future. And flights have surprisingly not gotten any cheaper. But don’t worry, next time I am in Spartanburg they will offer me a free factory tour, a $15 value!!!

The key word is ā€œcanā€. You can still have sex without actually making babies. You know that, right? lol

ā€œA lotā€ doesn’t have to include you  Or me for that matter. I’ve got enough already

There was that joke going around about 2003 NorthEast electric shut down that it caused a mini baby-boom few months later

Very smart friend of mine sent me this quote. When Buffett pushes his chips in, I’ll be close behind.

Buffett did not amass his fortune by following the herd but by leading it,ā€ RIA Advisors strategist Lance Roberts recently wrote in a blog post. ā€œHe is sitting on a $128 billion in cash for a reason. Buffett is fully aware of the gains he has forgone, yet still continues his ways. Buffet is not dumb!ā€

Also, amazed there Isn’t more talk of lease deals on here. All the Japanese auto sellers have fiscal years ending March 31. We don’t know how dealer incentives really work but you wonder if they will be trying their hardest to push metal out the door or be so far behind they say screw it, we aren’t hitting any monthly, quarterly or annual targets anyhow.

Im waiting to see if lease numbers get better. My lease is due to expire in May but i’ve already been searching my next lease. So far dealers aren’t jumping at my business.
