Newb here. Was wondering if someone can clarify a question regarding conquest program for me. Is there a difference between conquest and loyalty? If I am currently financing a different brand (2022 Toyota Camry) will I still qualify for conquest incentives? Is it stackable with other incentives/rebates? Looking at other brand leases and I always see monthly payments w or w/o conquest so I wanted to make sure I would be eligible.
It would help to know the mystery brand you are shopping
Yes: loyalty means you’re staying with the brand and conquest means you’re getting extra money to leave another brand for this one. You don’t often see both offered on the same make/model, if you do it’s up to that brand/program to decide if both with stack ( seen it both ways).
A Toyota would not be eligible for Toyota or Lexus conquest incentives, but might be eligible for loyalty. Right now Blazer and Equinox EVs have a special loyalty incentives for Bolt owners.
Different brands have different rules, on conquest - you will often see specific brands/models that make one eligible.
E.g. some EVs offer specific conquest for Tesla owners.
Not everyone offers a conquest incentive and even when they do it’s a specific list of brands or models that are eligible. For example the IX has a specific list of models that qualify for its conquest incentive and you can google it. Same for ZDX/Prologue.
What’s your goal and what’s your budget?
Yes. Aside from the GLE you don’t want to own any of the others.
I want to lease but not in a rush. I think I’m just being impulsive. I spend a lot of time on marketplace looking at deals, looking for a reasonably priced car. we currently have a 2022 Camry and a 2016 Corolla with one child (1 year old). I would love a bigger car, bending to put car seat in used to be very annoying + the stroller. I’m also 6’1 so I’d like to recline my seat and be seated comfortably.
I want to stay @ or under 700 for monthly car payments with no more than first & fees for drive off. Also would like to get either EV or plug in hybrid.
Have you checked out insurance rates for EV’s of PHEV’s? I’d suggest getting some quotes for cars you’re interested in, just so you know and for reference. It has caught quite a few buyers by surprise and rates have soared in the last 18 mths.
Hummer and GLE are not $700 cars, they are more expensive and I don’t think you qualify for iX conquest which could get you close. Many people here have reported mechanical problems with EQS which you probably don’t want while riding with a 1yr old.
That leaves the ZDX and don’t forget the Cadillac Lyric which is the same car underneath.
Personally I’d take a fully loaded Prologue (ZDX platform twin) or Ioniq 5 Limited at ~$500 than the base or mid trim ZDX.
