Concerns about leasing my first car 2023 BMW through broker

Hi,
I am working with a broker on a BMW lease and it was supposed to arrive end of June. Then my broker its two week out and it will be here in the first two weeks of July. But today he said its being held at the port for waiting for a part. Does this normally happen?

Is it reasonable of ask the broker for proof of transit? What other documentation can i ask as a proof?

You got a VIN or production number?

I think you are fine, in-transit time is just estimated. You can check with the dealer if you have the vin or stock # (or you can simply go to dealer website to see if the car is still in transit)

It’s on stop sale. Their broker isn’t jacking with them.

Oh I see, or there might be a way to check on BMW’s inventory on their web if he has the vin?

The buyer should have a production number which would track the car on my garage or bmw app.

Nothing to worry about……happens quite often.

Cool site you can use to check into it:

Once your VIN status changes to “Closed” your car should be on its way to the dealer.
