It can make a big difference in a few states based on taxes (TX for example)
I am planning to execute the same lease and immediate buyout strategy on the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Limited. This is the best deal I got here in Seattle, WA till now. Please let me know if it is a good deal and which of the fees can be negoatiated.
First off, ditch those optional items
You could spend the same $45k plus TTL on an Odyssey and it would hold its value much better.
When purchasing the lease out in order to finance, did you have to go through your dealer again? I got the “price quote for your leased vehicle” letter from Chrysler Capital and at the top it states:
You must set up an appointment with your originating dealer, or any other original franchised dealership, to complete the purchase of this vehicle. Note that the dealer may charge a document or other administrative fee for processing such purchase (contact the dealer for the amount of any fees).
Didn’t want to have to go through a dealer again. Was hoping it could all be done through Chrysler Capital and my bank.
Still, at least I got a 62k vehicle for 42k.
Depends on the state, some states like FL try to force it.
Thats their form letter, no matter if it actually applies or not.
