Chrysler Cap Final Bill

I can’t seem to find a similar situation, so let me know if I’m in the wrong place.

I just received my final bill from Chrysler for mileage overage and the disposition fee. The total is a bit high, so I called to ask about the due date. The rep confirmed that there is no official due date, and also told me that there’s no set date when it would affect my credit or go to collections.

This sounds strange to me, has anyone else experienced this?
Does this mean they don’t ever send it to collections, or that it could still come back later?

I am not going to play games with my credit but I am curious about the what-ifs. What if I pay it in December, or in 2027 lol.

If not paid, it will be sent to collections and reported on your credit. How much was the bill and what for?

Its a little over $3k.
I would expect a due date of some sort. It’s really odd.

I would definitely call and ask again, don’t base everything off what one rep told you.

They called me again yesterday and I again asked and she confirmed there is no due date.
The agent said that there is a set due date with the monthly payments because that is the official debt and it was already satisfied when I made the last payment for the lease.
I guess this in unofficial debt? lol
