Just sharing some deals from this month for the chicagoland area. They may not be truly hackr worthy or less than 1%, but I would still consider them to be decent deals.
No, they’re really not. There are much better deals posted from Chicago on much better vehicles by hackrs, and I’ve seen several advertised Chi-town deals on the forums that are far better.
Not one of these deals would entice someone who frequents this forum.
For the folks who are not aware, Chicago is essentially double taxed, so you’re looking at 18.75% on a vehicle rather than 9.25%, or something along those lines.
The “deal” is separate from tax. Realistically you should be looking to achieve .90 - .95% of MSRP to get the “golden rule” and then add tax on top. Adding tax here gets you to 1.075% - 1.2%. Good deals can be had in Chicago.
