I have been working out a deal on a Blazer RS lease. I got the numbers where I wanted and inquired about a one play lease. The dealership sent me a quote that was higher than it would be for 24 months and told me that they advise against it because it will all be lost in a total accident.
First I’ve heard of this. It seems like the dealer is talking me out of it for their own gain.

Definitely figured as much. It sucks because it is definitely the best offer across the table that we have received. I was leaning towards doing one pay but seems like they don’t want us to.
Clearly BS. Probably they don’t do it often and are afraid of making an expensive mistake while punching that deal in, which I think is understandable. I would just sign if the deal is good enough.
