That is awesome!!!
Yup, a nice surprise!
Hi, I ordered a 2023 c8 2lt for myself at msrp.
My cousin also ordered a 70th anniversary coupe with z51 in black at msrp. He has backed out of his order. Dealer told him, the car will be delivered in 2 weeks. We havenât told our dealer yet about him backing out.
I am seeing some c8 selling for msrp. So my question is this, would it be worth it to take delivery of his to flip it for a bucks or have prices flatten on these new c8 where its not worth it. And also, what is the best way to flip it with least out of my pocket. 42m lease and sell the least to another gm dealer?
Donât think you can lease a C8-or if there are programs be ready for $10K plus DAS
Hard to flip these C8 now I thinkâŚmarket has softened notably.
A Z06 thoughâŚthat one is still MONEY.
I doubt youâd be able to break even with a Stingray. Mine was ordered as a flip originally, but I built it as a keeper just in case. I signed for it knowing that the market was softening and Iâm fine with that.
No money in C8 flip due to taxes fees. If itâs a low msrp build which I can estimate itâs not then most people wonât want it. Post your build here maybe someone wants it otherwise just let dealer know youâre backing out.
90k msrp
70th anniversary black 3lt coupe, Z51, battery package, wheel lock
I see dealers selling them for 110-105. Dont see any 70ths for msrp at all.
Send me offers
Even at $110k retailâŚtheres no reasonable room to meaningfully profit with your buying it at MSRP.
He has FOMO, just tell him what he wants to hear
Why would anyone buy these from you when you admit you have multiple orders that youâre debating even taking ? Youâre admitting there is no meat on the bone.
Interested in getting a C8 - Can anyone send me a contact - east coast, preferably custom build.
MacMulkin or Ciocca
Passed on my C8. After seeing the E-Ray which I should have allocation for, I couldnât pull the trigger on regular. especially since I couldnât get tax credit for trade and rates being so high. Also after taxes and fees I would be upside down at least $10k (likely more when demand fizzles) with 2 new models coming out.
I tried to see if I could pass to a friend to post here but dealer doesnât allow it. Sorry LH Fam.
Iâm even starting to think the same may happen with the ZO6, by the time (if) my number comes up.
My dealer will not allow my spot in line at MSRP to be given to anyone else either, even though I have a deposit down on it. Iâm actually pondering getting my deposit back.
Keep Z06 allocation
I probably will for another year or so, after that if nothing has come of it Iâll probably just get the deposit back ($5k).
Personally, I will have zero interest in the car. Itâs not that itâs not a cool car, itâs just not something I would probably want right now or anytime soon.
Z06s are allocated as 10% of total chassis #s afaik
Feels like it would be hard to see z06 at msrp as a bad deal. Obviously a lot of money/liability but unless we have a total implosion are the values really going to tank?
I guess the warranty stuff makes reselling these a bit more complicated too.
