I actually thought it was a pretty solid deal myself when comparing it to other deals on the forum. We don’t have any state incentives and tax on the vehicle sale price so this is one of the few cars that is actually “hackable” through the big dealer discounts.
It is also nice that I have 6 Chevy dealers within an hour drive to bounce off of each other. They also seem to have plenty of bolts in stock too.
Maryland state taxes are higher, at 6% of the sales price. @Dave_Golden or any other resident is going to have to put in a lot of effort to get a good deal in Maryland.
That’s your numbers, I left the tax at 9%. I assume they marked up the MF to make up for the discount. There’s some other crap they must have added unless you’re in a tax the price state.
tax the price state
Even with the marked up rate, they are at 12%+ discount, probably hard to push them much more, maybe squeeze another $500 out of them. The are making $1800 on the marked up rate.
What dealership in VA? PM me contact info for salesperson please. I’m trying to work a deal in NC and best I got for Bolt Premier is $337/mo, 10k miles, 36mo lease including Costco and Supplier.
Looking at VA dealerships willing to do out of state leases bc it’s still within driving distance.
