Chevy Bolt Premier 2019, DCII, Infotainment, DCFC, 393/mo, $3000 DAS

Norcal, a data point for others looking for a Bolt. Worked with three dealers, this was best ‘internet’ (e.g only email haggling) offer of three. Dublin Chevrolet. Comparable to the SoCal spreadsheet offer pricing.

Quote sheet below, the only thing it was missing was a $85 ‘doc fee’. Using a spreadsheet and the leasehackr manual calc method figured out all the numbers to check the quote math. The one pay offer did not look good though, should be a lot less, so just did normal monthly.

Thanks to the forum for the education (first lease.)

What makes you think one pay should be much less? All one pay gets you is a slight drop in MF. You don’t get extra cash off for one pay.

I agree, just a MF change (0.00073 according to the calc.)

I think it would drop to around $15K based on the MF change, so a drop of $1K+. I guess it’s all relative to what I mean by a ‘lot less’ vs how that’s interpreted.

Fair enough.

Based on the worksheet data, IF the adjusted MF is 0.00073 and the acq fee is 650, then the one pay is 14,381.52 including the $85 doc fee which I’m assuming is correct.

I probably wasn’t clear, the MF gets adjusted by 0.00073, so it would end up at 0.00107.

In that case, your one pay is 15,186.15.

What’s the mileage cap on this?

Mileage cap is 10k.

Also note the rebate pass through is $3750, not $7500. For other folks, perhaps you can haggle more to get more of the rebate pass through.

@LookingAround Am I right in understanding that you paid $1417.97 out of pocket, and that’s all? The drive off is the customer cash + the rebate?

Ah, I see, the $3000 “customer cash” is:

$1417.97 cash cap reduction
$1104.04 fees and taxes
$392.99 first months payment
$85 doc fee

$3000

@moof - yup, you figured it out, we wrote a check for $3k and that’s what it covered. I have a hacky spreadsheet if you want to see the calcs.

The Edmunds forum has a moderator quoting MF and Rebate for Chevy Bolt vs zipcode. It looks like $3750 is standard ‘rebate’ for the $7500 that GM Financial gets, MF varies based on Zip and rates it seems.
