Ioniq doesn’t have tesla access YET. Let’s hope they get it next month but that is just hope not reality Yet ( this is just people guessing given the ongoing testing). Mercedes also has 2 year free EA charging but guess how many times I was actually able to use it? Twice…they also have a deal with Tesla and should have had access by now but they do not.
I agree I overlooked that Ioniq has highway assist 2 but for double/triple even 4 times the price the dealers are demanding for Limited awd, I still do not see the advantage, ongoing recall and quality control issues notwithstanding.
If you feel Ioniq is the best in business, more power to you. I do not have any dog in this fight. You do you.
I have installed more complicated components and systems in cars, boats and other vehicles than what will be needed for this upgrade so I wouldn’t be worried about that.
Not having CP and Android Auto is a pass for many people and pretty ridiculous at this point. Another decision proving that GM will make sure that they drive away as much business as they can.

Agreed GM made a misstep on the consumer end, they got greedy, we would like to all OEMs include CarPlay too, Unfortunately , it seems they all probably will start moving away sooner or later. Lots of money to be made in subscription services.
My backup option Tesla did not have it either and for all the other value this car brings for the money, it was a no brainer.
I just posted my thought process on the other cars, somethings are a deal breaker for some people, others are for me. To each their own.
I even have people tell me Carplay is a dealbreaker for them and then went and got a Tesla. That admittedly leaves me quite puzzled.

Prologue can use tesla superchargers as well, just select blazer EV in menu. Most superchargers I would want to use are not open to other brands though. The ones that are open are usually in big cities and not off rural towns/highways.

Yea, I have a prologue and tested it out. I think the inverter/charger in prologue is identical to blazer ev which is why it works.
