Anyone in NY/NJ/MA able to replicate this deal? How leasing a manual version be cheaper? By how much? If I co-signed a lease, would I still be able to get the $1,500 incentive for non-GM lessees?
Transmission choice doesn’t affect residuals, MF, or incentives.
The numbers posted on the home page are for Cruze Limited 1LT. All other trims (LS, 2LT, LTZ, ECO) have residuals that are 1% lower.
Yes, if you co-signer is currently leasing a non-GM car, then the $1,500 incentive can be applied.
thanks michael! — since a stick shift is cheaper – would that mean the monthly payment would be lower?
How much would we be looking at?
Thanks!

I’m getting issues out here in Southern California. No one wants to budge off a selling price of about $20,500. If anyone gets any other deals, let me know. I qualify for everything but the Farm Bureau offer.
If the manual is $1,000 less sticker price, then a 24 month lease would be roughly $20 cheaper per month.
wow! so only $38 a month? not bad to learn how to drive manual.
Can anyone comment on the return lease process for Chevrolet… i’m just afraid they will make money on the return and charge for everything little dents / scratch.
Tried getting the deal this morning. Closest I can come to it is $131/mo, with NOTHING down. All taxes and fees included in the payment. The main difference from the $58/mo mentioned here seems to be the selling price. Lowest I was able to get is $20,320. The dealer is saying that the truecar price is for purchase and cannot be replicated with the lease. Also remember, you have to pay taxes on the incentive. The $131 includes those taxes rolled into the payment. If you pay them upfront (about $330), the payment goes down to $117.
no one wants to budge here either in socal. would take this is a heartbeat esp the manual!
Get the truecar selling price with no incentives. That should be the same as lease sale price before lease cash.
That’s the problem. I bring it up and they refuse to come close to it. It’s stupid.
Hi Michael,
Would this mean the L / LS trims will be even cheaper? Since the homepage is referencing the 1LT model…
The Malibu Limited LS trim has only $3,085 lease cash. The L model is not supported for lease at all, so no lease cash.
The Cruze Limited LS would be .01 less residual but still has the $3,455 lease cash. The L model is not supported, so no lease cash.
Yes, same exact experience. They are $1500k above the TrueCar price and refusing to budge.
where are you located?
I’m in NY, but quotes I’m getting are from dealers in NJ.
So it looks like getting this deal is Impossible in Cali??
Maybe closer to the end of the month.
I wouldn’t say it’s impossible. Plug in a few zip codes when searching for TC price. Get a few of them middle of the month and keep in contact with them until the end. One of them is likey to get close to what you want. For me, I was only trying to hit 1LTs with bonus cash and volt.
please pm me if you are able to find a dealership in the NJ/NY/PA/MA to get this deal! thanks!
