Check my Acura lease offer...lease or buyout?

,

I am coming up on returning of my Acura on April 1st. Was gong to buyout my MDX lease cash out at 31000 including NY tax. (I did some damage to the left front bumper didn’t want to deal with what it might cost at return) however I don’t v like the 2019 year on it so much and I dry not need the 3 row any longer.
My dealer offered me this RDX lease offer. Please review below.

Im interested in the RDX and my husband is retiring in 3 years. So just need something until then, when we will buy a car for longer use. I drive very low miles, my lease now after extending to 4 years has only 27,000.
What do you think? I usually do all the research and broker a deal. But i do not have time this month and need to make decision. Thanks everyone!

You’ll be paying $26,750 + any equity to lease the RDX. Unless you really hate the MDX, it’s only a few more grand to own that. Personally I’d buy it out and ride that one for another 3 years.

Outside of that not much I can advise on the lease. How does it compare to deals you’re seeing in the marketplace section?

I haven’t looked yet. She just sent me this the other day. Just looking to do a quick deal but not get a bad deal. I’m at the point of, if it’s decent and I’m not overpaying or extra fees/MA, im ok for 3 years new lease.
The MDX is ok. It’s just i don’t like cars after 5+ yrs interiors start to break down even with the care we give them and I never liked the MDX infotainment. It’s had issues since we got it, like the voice prompts for acura link coming on randomly repeating itself over and over. Phone calls to acura link randomly, disconnecting phones and nav issues. They can never find an issue when serviced of course. I had to video when it gradients to prove it.
I also don’t like the set up of the 2 screens or the placement of knobs and buttons. So owning it long term would be annoying. I don’t need the 3 rows as all my kids have their own cars now. It’s been good enough for us for the past 4 years, now my needs and curcumstances have changed.

Do you think this Is this a decent deal? Not great but not getting jacked?

Send us a pm.

No. You’re effectively paying full MSRP. If you can’t get good discounts on an RDX, I would shop other vehicles.

You’re not a great candidate for leasing since you only drive ~550 miles a month.

Why wouldn’t you buy that “next car” now?

better off just buying it out.

Because of the interest rates and low inventory Also im not sure what car I want for the long term yet.
I don’t want to lease really as it is not a good time but I’m up to my max lease term so it goes back april 1st.
I really don’t want to finance 25 grand for 5 yrs and 3 year loan is around 7-800 a month from credit union and that’s with top teir credit at the lowest interest rate avail and lower points for cu loyalty and direct pay.
Beside i don’t want this car. If i pay cash out im taking 30 grand from my savings.
But i have to do something.
I’m going to try to negotiate on the lease offered. If not I’ll probably buy then sell as soon as i get another car. I’ll have more time to shop and negotiate.

Yes i know. I just have to do something by Apr 1st. Only 3 wks and no time to shop around and try to deal with other car makes and models. We only have this the one car.

Or just go through us and have us save you a few thousand with no broker fee

Yes, the last time i checked with you or was order only i don’t have time to wait for something to come in. But i would use a broker for sure if the deal was good. Do you deal with Accra?

i have both rdx and mdx in stock, yes.

I’m looking for a rdx advance. Not white and prefer brown interior but black is acceptable lol. Private chat me
Also, is there a shipping fee to get the car to me?

I lease the last car because i don’t want the car that long, my circumstances were going to change during the 3 years, i could get a higher end car for that time over a standard suv with options, and taxes and payments were less for the duration that i needed the car for. Lastly im not sure what car i really want long term and i could afford to do the lease. I made a good deal on my last lease but as we all know pricing and negotiations have changed quite a bit since then.
