believe the plug can be utilized with a level 2 charger.

Close. The plug that comes with the DC quick charge package can be plugged into a 240V outlet at home and charge at ~3.4kW (don’t quote me on that). Normal 110V will charge at 1.4kW. A proper L2 charger installed will charge at 6.6kW (also what you’ll typically find at commercial/public chargers).
Chademo will charge at 50kW.

the plug that’s included is a level 2 charger, with a converter for level 1 usage. bit cumbersome with the L1 attachment, but works just fine.
