I’ve been spending hours upon hours searching for a 3 row SUV. I’m totally lost, feel like I spoke to every dealer on the east coast. Maybe someone here can help. I’m looking for 3 rows (second row to be a bench, AWD, leather and power moon roof or panoramic. Any 3 row except Honda Pilot. Mitsubishi. Mazda. Kia. Hyundai. Toyota. I don’t care. I’m looking for $400-450 month with 2-3k max down. I’m in New York. Is this price range possible or no chance with the features I want. Would do 36 39 42 or even 48 month lease. 12k miles per year prefer. Please. Any help??
Might be able to get into a lower trim grand cherokee l for around that price. What have you found as far as pricing on those options in the market place and shared deals here?
I have found. Grand Cherokee fully loaded 3 row. $7000 down and $499 a month. 12k miles
Mitsubishi Outlander touring package. $4500 down. $490 a month 36’months or. $4500 down 48 months, $460 months. 12k miles
Mazda I’ve seen on these boards some decent success just under $500. But I haven’t shopped around for Mazda yet
Palisade.and telluride. Like 650 a month
Toyota Highlander also 600’s
Qx60 700’s.
Try looking at numbers for an altitude trim.
Ordering a grand Cherokee L from a broker here will be your best bet if you can wait a couple of months (2-4).
If you really need a car and can’t wait, your best bet is to just buy and not lease right now.
It’s prob the worst time in history, ever, to lease a car .
Try to find a dealer willing to do a deal at MSRP and simply purchase .
Your best bet is to buy a vehicle that was holding its value well even before COVID. Highlander, Telluride, etc.
Telluride EX meets your requirements and is about 41k MSRP. You can pay sticker without any markup if you order a car from the right dealer.
You can finance with a traditional auto loan @ 1.9% APR for 60 months. Run an auto loan calculator anywhere online to see what payments look like depending on down payment, tax etc.
You can also use a balloon loan as long as you are committed to buying or refinancing at the end, and not just walking away from thousands of possible equity dollars.
@Stockboy1 This was the route I went. Lease pricing in this space just hurts right now. I ordered a Kia and purchased it last night.
Grand Cherokee will have the best “deal” and I agree with others that leasing is a bad proposition right now, it’s best to finance and take advantage of low rates.
I’ll also recommend the new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. They did a great job with the redesign, as the previous generation was non competitive in the segment. I purchased at $1k markup over msrp, and financed zero % for 36 months. I have no clue if I got a good deal on the selling price, as there aren’t many comps, but I needed an suv with a functional third row, and was very satisfied with the value proposition.
A telluride or palisade at msrp is probably a better deal, but anything on the lot at my local Kia dealer was marked up $15k and Hyundai was marking up $8k. If you can wait on an order, that does sound extremely appealing.
You also may get lucky with incoming inventory units.
I ordered a carnival at MSRP, was quoted 3-4 months for the order. At the 1 month mark, the dealer got an inventory unit in that matched my order and called me up. Sold it at the same price I had ordered at.
Obviously if you need a car now, that doesn’t work, but if you have some flexibility, it’s a good way to go.
Considering Pathfinders are selling for a couple thousand over MSRP at auction, I’d say that’s a fair deal
Are you in South Florida? Looking to go this way for a telluride… just scared about the right dealer part… Would you share yours?
Thank you
I’m in central FL, but the dealer is in south Florida. Ordered from south dade kia.
I worked with Ron. 786-587-5099
Deal was at msrp. They do charge the typical high FL doc fee and electronic filing.
Thank you sir!
