Charger Hellcat WB spin off - ordering, configs, flips, etc

I almost wonder if that’s not what is holding my order up. I only have the sunroof and the sepia interior.

No, ESD of 11/21 last I had checked. :face_holding_back_tears:

Youll get it. Mine only popped up 1 day before esd on tracker.

I may have found a dealer that is willing to go MSRP for the 2023 hellcat widebody (non red-eye) as its the last allocation. He said I just come in and build it and they will place the order and then its just a waiting game. Never ordered a vehicle before and this especially. Anything I am missing? Any rec’s? Will have pre-approval, will watch for any bs dealer mark ups (shouldn’t be because MSRP but just incase). Anything in this particular to this vehicle I should watch for or ask? Thank you to everyone!

What does pre-approval mean?

Just ask if they have any mandatory add-on items?

Ask if you can lease, if that’s what you want

Thank you for your response. pre-approval for my auto loan. Looking to buy rather than lease. Would not be a daily driver , at least not in the winter and wanted to hold on to it for as long as I can. Will make sure to ask about mandatory add-on items, thank you again!

How long is your pre-approval good for?

The car can be built in 1 month or 6 or 12.

Honestly would look at rates once a order built time line would be available. With current interest not the best strategy, however, longest pre-approval i have seen is for 90 days.
Thank you for the response!

With a Hellcat, I’d say there is a small chance it would be delivered within 90 days. Production for the 23’s begins next month IIRC, making the chance even more slim. They still have a backlog of MY22’s to build.

If anything, I’d look at rates once the car has been built.

Any chance this might be pushed back if they can’t clear the backlog of 22 orders? Don’t think I’ve seen a manufacturer straight up cancel last MY orders, they get rolled at the very least.

Possibly, but it’s anyones guess.

A MY22 will absolutely not be rolled into a MY23 order.

From hellcat forums. Answered my own question I guess. Don’t know what “approved for build” means though. I’m still in C status according to waitingforjeep.com and D status which is pre-build according to dealer.

Well apparently there was miscommunication and they only have challengers available. Still worth it? Looking at the Hellcat (non-redeye) wide body still; Assuming their demand isn’t as crazy as the chargers?

If you’re looking to keep, what does it matter?

You’ve been asking these questions for over 6 months now with no order. There is also plenty of information in this thread alone. If you’re still in the dark with the overall situation, then I can’t recommend ordering/purchasing a $80k+ Hellcat for any reason.

If you are planning to keep this thing for long time then get what you want to drive. Special options only matters if the vehicle become some sort of collectables in the future.

If you are looking for 1-2 years then it’s just wholesale value and options are negligible.

Also car thieves will decide how long you can keep your car. These things get stolen left and right due to ancient anti-theft technology.

When 392 wranglers dropped they offered me 45k for one. Meanwhile they had used one’s at over 100k. They are scum.

Specking out my jailbreak challenger tomorrow. Surprised to see it comes with cloth seats and halogens standard :joy:. Is it worth an extra 4k for leather and LEDs when it’s time to flip

Absolutely not
