Charger hellcat lease

Hey guys, I had been going through the old hellcat thread from the beginning of the year. Now I am currently working with a couple of dealers trying to get there. The best I have been able to get so far is $600 a month for a sign and drive on a $71500 msrp at 36/12. Anybody think I should keep working for lower? Or is this about as good as it will get for these terms. Most of the people seemed to be getting the better deals on the challengers.

Wow I can’t even get under 500 a month for a 2017 scat pack in Ny for 36/12.

The residuals on money factor are lower on the scat packs, making it much harder to get a good lease deal.

Tell me about it, 600 on a hellcat sounds awesome from where I’m standing at

STILLLOOKING- is that a challenger?

I got a Norcal dealer down to $599/month on a manual $79k Hellcat.

Which dealer? Can you share name?

Welstig 1- what dealer?

What dealer what that

Is that on a challenger?

Yes it was on the Challenger, 2016 about 2 months ago. It was either Hilltop or Antioch Dodge near San Francisco. Didn’t look to see if they had any 2016s left in inventory but sounded like they wanted to get rid of them.

I didn’t know they are still leasing 2016s. Thought dodge doesn’t support it with residuals anymore

Residual was still in the 70s, and the dealers wanted to get rid of them. Again, about 2 months ago.

The only thing that stopped me was a recent accident that would make my car insurance sky rocket past a point of reasonable.

**Just went back and looked on both sites, the Chargers appear to have found homes. There is a 2016 scat pack discounted almost 20% already on the Hilltop Dodge site that someone could probably get for a steal of a deal.

There is no $79k hellcat, that’s them listing it marked up.

It ended up falling through, I calculated to the numbers based on how much they where taking off of msrp when talking on the phone. I asked them to send a proposal and they tried to change the discount amount and then pumped up the mf a lot and refused to lower it. Shady dealer, of course it took many emails back and forth to even get them to send numbers and instead kept trying the come on down and we will talk about it game. The only dealers that where worse to deal with was huntington beach and Cerritos.

Msrp has a lot to do with leading numbers. And yes ou are right, like I stated the cars are no longer listed. I got my quote a couple months ago.

I’m still looking for a scat pack or hellcat lease… if anyone stumbled across a good deal.

What’s the best number you got so far for the hellcat lease

Item of general interest to Hellcat buyers:

http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2017/08/dodge-hellcats-recalled-catastrophic-oil-line-failure/

Dodge is recalling Charger and Challenger Hellcats due to faulty engine oil cooler lines which may result in a rapid, catastrophic loss of fluids. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration filed a recall request earlier this month, saying 1,207 vehicles assembled between February and May of 2017 may be affected.

According to the recall information, the issue stems from rubber used in the oil cooler line. Chrysler’s testing revealed that the rubber doesn’t meet the company’s usual criteria. Substandard materials can allow the hose to separate from a crimped aluminum portion of the line, letting oil gush out as if someone unscrewed a drain plug.

The NHTSA report suggests Hellcat owners might experience “impaired visibility due to oil spray on the windshield, engine seizure and/or a potential risk of fire due to engine oil contacting a hot surface. The rapid loss of engine oil and the resulting impaired visibility can cause vehicle crash without prior warning.”

Where are you located? If SoCal what dealer?

Also, I have seen a few 2018’s in transit to a couple of SoCal dealers - not surprisingly, a few of the dealers I connected with a couple of weeks ago want to deal now.
