CCAP Early lease buyout requiring dealer involvement?

It’s a 3% add on in PA, not 2%. Only the 6% applies to the buyout price.

Unless you are in Philly, which does go up another 2% to 11% I think.

Your right, Philadelphia County sales tax is 8%, add the 3% for 11%. Allegheny county is 7% plus the 3% for 10%. All other PA counties are 6+3=10%

Thanks for the info, I like your math.

Closing loop here. The lease was purchased w/o any dealer involvement. I simply mailed a check to the address and got a title a few weeks later.

Next question is that my buyout letter did not include a sales tax amount. I hope that I do not need to pay further taxes once I take the title to DMV for transfer.

State: PA

All is I can say is , keep your checkbook handy and make sure it has about $3487.93 in there.

Not sure what you mean by “further”

Your letter shows $0 tax was paid so the entirety is due.

Hey I know it’s been awhile but I’m having this same hang-up trying to buy my JGC. Letter states appointment must be setup with dealer and is available through dealer. Were you able to get this verbiage removed? My CU refuses to move forward with these on it…

Redundant to have multiple threads going on for the same question. Any further discussion can continue here:
