As “deals” are fewer and far between and everything keeps rising in price, I figured this would be a cool place for people to reminisce / look back on their prior hacks and share with some of the younger gen / newer LH population what was possible “back in the day”

This was my first lease. 2002 Honda S2000 - $1k DAS, $305 a mo. for 48/10. I bought it out after two years and kept it for a total of seven. Wish I still had it.
I had a 2004… the redesigned one. Loved it… took it to Deal’s Gap a few times. Nothing quite like it anymore

Checkered Flag is relatively awful to deal with. Various dealerships and depending on staff rotation some are fake one price others aren’t.
Family has a 20 year extensive and profitable service history with them on Hyundai and Genesis. Had to go to Brooklyn to get a g90 only to get a text 4 days later they’d match (still more expensive after fees).
Maybe this is real who knows with them.
Good thing i can’t afford gas prices anymore so I’ll never have to worry about it. I sure did love my old F-Type though and scrolling through all those jag pics tickles me in ways I’d long forgotten
