Car Lease Takeover in Michigan

I was wondering if someone could help me see if it would be possible for someone to take over my lease with GM Financial. I have no clue how this works and I would really appreciate the help. If you tell me what info you need I can get that and maybe you can tell me if its doable or not.
Thank you so much
Dan

As long as you have more than 12 mos remaining, and the person taking it over is from MI, you can transfer.

It’s a 3 year lease term and I signed papers on 4/20/2018. So I have around 21 months to go so that should be OK. Its figuring out all the other stuff to post it online I am having a hard time with.

Do you have a copy of the lease? If not, request it from GM. That is where most info can be gathered.

Here are examples with info on this site: https://forum.leasehackr.com/c/private-lease-transfers

If you have good lease numbers, someone on this site may be interested in assuming the lease. If not, they may recommend adding money/an incentive to the deal or posting to SwapALease.com.

I do have a copy of the lease. So I can look at your link to get the info I need from my lease contract?
I honestly dont know if its a good deal or not. I thought it was at the time but I could of got scammed like so many do at dealer. The basics I do know. sticker was $66k, I have 24074 miles on it now. I pay $576/mnth and I have 40,014 miles total miles allowed.

that’s a loaded denali? $576 aint too bad for 13.5k a year. It should go pretty easily on swap a lease.

Yea I believe it does have all or most of the options available. It was $65, not $66 my apologies

So you think I should put it on swapalease.com? Is that a $200 dollar fee for posting it?

haggle with them. They will give you a deal on premium listing for $150 if you haggle enough.

Post here first: https://forum.leasehackr.com/c/private-lease-transfers

If no bites in a couple of days, try/pay SwapALease.

Ok I will give it a try thanks guys for all the help. One other question what does MSD mean?

Multiple Security Deposit ( MSD ) is a payment paid in advance to protect the leasing company against damage to the car or nonpayment to the lease . MSD aims to lower your monthly payments by lowering your interest rate. … You will receive your deposit back at the end of your lease term.

Oh so it’s like the deposit when you first lease a vehicle?
