Luckily nobody died or got hurt because then he would have been compelled to ask whether they were vaccinated or not. That guy embodies everything wrong with the car enthusiast community.

Fire in Cargo Ship reportedly caused by EV Batteries.
There go my Next EV vehicle. We just not lost these cars but an environmental disaster in the middle of Ocean.

The latest I saw was that they don’t know if the batteries started the fire, but the batteries are indeed on fire :fire:

Just wondering which insurance company will take the Hit. Ship is gone if it sinks and most of the cars are gone too.

Very unlikely one company has the entire liability.

Either a consortium insured the ship and its contents, or one insurer took the contract and limited its own risk through reinsurance.

Reinsurance might be the world’s largest industry that most consumers have never heard of.

Looks like they’re at least going to reprioritize the rebuilds… I’ll give PCNA an A for effort on communication at least.

Batteries burning, or the batteries started the fire? Either way that ship is toast.

Looks like $155million loss

I love consultant estimates. Bright side? Not a single one of those VINs will end up a :lemon:
