I’m about 20 days into a 24-month lease. I rolled a Sonsio protection package into the lease for $2,200 (tire/wheel + cosmetic, etc.) with tax and interest its $2600.

I’m within the cancellation window and was told

My monthly payment will remain the same.The refund will be applied to the lease balance, it will be “reflected at lease end”

Has anyone here cancelled a protection product mid-lease and can explain how it actually plays out at lease end? Do I receive a check for the amount I overpaid?

Your payments end earlier, that’s all.

If the refund is, say, $2,400 and your payment is $400 then you don’t need to make the last 6 payments.

Oh ok thanks that makes sense. Any idea how this would work if I decided to transfer the lease? Would the person assuming the lease just get the remaining months but just pay for a couple less months?
