Can you “steal” tax payer money?

Odds of this actually happening?

Sounds awesome if true.

If your whip took 15 tries to start, would you trust it?

Government in a nutshell.

Kind of a non sequitur but I have a friend who works at IRS. His department (IT) is getting some of these new 87k “agents” from IRA funding. My friend group has started calling him “agent XXX” since apparently everyone who works at IRS is an agent now. This guy is…not an agent.

But will he “just follow orders”?

Not sure where the line is but comparing people to Nazis is almost always gonna be across it.

This should work out well. :face_with_peeking_eye:

A purely symbolic gesture but I’ll take it since taxation is theft.

Call him whatever you want. An agent, a customer support rep and coder, whatever. All their jobs are the same: take the money I worked for and give it to someone who didn’t work for it. They’re all thieves.

And really they’re not thieves. Thieves steal and keep the money. They’re more like thieves for hire.

HA HA. Yeah when the GOP has the house and nothing else they pass all sorts of cool shit knowing it will never become law. They repealed Obamacare 10 times. Then when they could actually repeal it, they didn’t. The GOP is a joke.

I agree, what did those soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines ever do to earn their paychecks.

LOL. I love it when leftists suddenly LURVE the military and police when justifying theft via taxation. But that shit doesn’t work with me because I’d happily cut the military budget by 75%. What else ya got? The brave men and women of the department of Agriculture? How about those heroes the NLRB? Hard working, sacrificing every day for you and me!!

Maybe the Interstate Highway System that we use to drive all of the hacked leases on?

Was appreciative of the FAA went I needed to go to do a round trip flight this week.

I’d agree with you that I’d be completely content with a smaller military. I’d also be content if the government returned flood insurance to the private market, maybe get out of the crop insurance market as well.

The same FAA that had a cascading failure this morning?

Pothole Pedro is doing a bang up job there. :eyes:

You’re praising the FAA…today? LOL!
Wow dude. You get a top 10 worst timing award. And even so that is funded with airline taxes. You know that $300 flight you took? $75 of that went to the FAA.

As for taXeS paY foR hiGHwAys arguments, yeah GAS TAXES pay for those highways, not income taxes.

If income taxes were the only taxes I paid I might be somewhat OK with it. But on top of the 35% they steal from me there, I pay gas tax, sales tax, property tax, FAA tax, airport tax, car rental tax, hotel occupancy tax, cell phone tax, and another 100 or so taxes. So spare me this “without the IRS we’d have nothing” nonsense.
