I have a current 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 (MSRP of a little over $49k) through Ally. I got it back in January of 2017 and pay $430/mo and have 12k miles per year and put $0 down, and I do get FCA’s employee discount.
I’m a little past the halfway point of the lease and have kinda been looking to get into a new car if possible. I’m really interested in an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti Sport.
I got really lucky with my last lease (a 2015 Chrysler 300S through Ally Auto) and got a lease pull ahead by about 9 months and paid nothing to get out of it! Nothing was rolled in to my current lease. The dealer said they were able to sell the car for more so I had equity or something along those lines.
I contacted 1 Alfa dealer and they said they’d look into being able to get me out of my current Jeep lease (since they also lease through Ally), but I missed their phone calls and forgot to call back and time slipped away and before I knew it it’s already been a few months.
Do I have any hope of being able to get a lease pull ahead anytime soon?
That was not a pull-ahead that you did and I’m pretty sure Ally never has official pull-ahead offers. Only captives so. You were able to get out of your previous lease because you lucked out and the buyout was lower than it’s current value.
Ah, okay. The dealer I always go to always has $3,000 lease pull ahead offers. Could’ve had something to do with that as well.
Still really looking to get into an Alfa within the next 6 months or so. Wonder if there’s anything that could be done about it. I have about a year left.
I currently have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is exactly 2 years paid out of a 3 year lease. My current payment is $431/mo and the MSRP was $53k. I put $0 down and got out of my old 2015 Chrysler 300s lease about 6 months early. I get FCA employee discount as well as competitive lease discounts.
The dealership I always go through always offers lease pull aheads up to $3,000 (I owe about $5,000 left on the lease). Problem is, I want to lease an Alfa Romeo next (which is in FCA’s portfolio and uses Ally/Chrysler Capital), and I’m not sure if that’s even a thing. I would get another Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, but it’s not exactly what I want.
Does anyone know if Alfa Romeo dealers do lease pull aheads? I’m located in Metro Detroit. I know a whole 12 months is a lot, but what about if I wait 6 more months?
Or am I going to be stuck until the last couple of months until the lease is over?
I’m fine on mileage, just kind of over this car. Wish I got a 2 year lease, but it was way too expensive compared to 3 years.
