Calculator question, how does one estimate Dealer fees, and government fees?

These seem to vary wildly in the calculators I look at in SIGNED. If I am trying to make understand est. cost so I can make an offer before getting a quote from a dealer, how will I know their dealer fees? And is there a good resource for estimating gov fees based on location?

Using the below example, I have those two field blank - what should I fill them with?

Doc fees are capped at $85 in California.

You can always ask them to send you a quote first and use their number to send yours.

CA gov fees are roughly 1.5% of msrp
