Im guessing the 439 is monthly payment?
Also, where you located?
Yea. 439 is monthly payment. I live in Texas.
well, TX hurts, of course. Have you checked on incentives? What do you qualify for?

Have you thought about leasing a loaner?
How did it work out for you?
I’m looking into leasing a Cadillac XT5 with Luxury trim. I couldn’t get the dealer to give a big discount on a brand new vehicle, but was offered a bigger discount on a loaner. The loaner has 3900 miles on it. I’m not sure how to calculate the price for a loaner, so I’m hoping to get some feedback. I’ve pasted a link to the calc. The current offer has the vehicle discounted 14.5% off MSRP.

I would’ve considered it if the vehicle had been for me. At the trim level we could afford, it didn’t have enough safety features to hopefully keep my wife out of trouble.
So about 12.5% discount before the $500 incentive seems good. Overall, the deal sucks due to lack of incentives and crappy residual. But if it is the car you want, then it is what it is.

It has one thing going for it: basically rent-free.
Thanks for all the replies! I asked them for loaners.
