Cadillac lyriq tech lease deal?

Local dealer in MD is advertising 24 month lease deal for $159 month with $3970 down plus tax , tags and $799 dealer fee for Lyriq tech awd. This is for 24 month 10k mi. I put those numbers in the calculator and it comes out like this

If I eliminate the down payment and just pay taxes and tags and dealer fee upfront it comes out $330 month. What do you think about this deal? I am planning to go there this wknd and see what the real numbers are, Unfortunately in MD we have to pay 6% sales tax on the full purchase price even on a lease

I didn’t double check your calculator entries, but taking them at face value, will the market support a pre-incentive discount of 15.2%?

Please don’t.

can you elaborate, other then just please dont

to get the numbers to match up it showed a pre incentive discount of 8.8% in the calculator

There is no good reason to ever go into a dealer and ask them how much they want you to pay.

Don’t steap foot into the dealer until you have a price already agreed on, and youre far better off getting to that price by making them an offer for them to agree to rather than just asking them.

7.7% since these have a $0 acq fee.

Thats assuming theyre not requiring supplier/loaner/cc sign up to get there

ok, Ill call them today instead. thanks

my thought is to try to get it under $500 a month with zero due at signing. the taxes alone in MD add around $150 a month to the payment

Personally, i prefer to do everything in email or text so you have it in writing

Might be the only state in the country where you probably are better off doing longer leases.

normally yes 36 months leases are cheaper, but with the lyriq tech deal on the 24 month lease its not cheaper due to the high residual I believe on the 24 month lease on tech model.

Are you open to anything else?

sure if its a good deal. but need to be able to tow 3000 lbs thats why I like the lyriq awd and they are offering good incentives on the tech package. though it seems not many dealers have techs left

It’s pointless going back and forth with an invisible manager over pricing, and it takes a lot of time.

How much they want for the car is immaterial.

You’re asking a binary question: “Will you accept this [well researched, aggressive, but market supported] offer?”

You can find that out via texts / email in a tiny fraction of the time.

If the answer is no, politely move on.

I texted with a sales manager today and he verified the $159 deal with 3970 down plus taxes, tags, dealer fee and first payment due at signing as long as I have tier1 credit and $3000 conquest rebate which I do. putting it in calculator and adding the $500 for gm cc that should equal $1500 down plus first month at $458 and $458 month. I think that is reasonable with our shitty high MD taxes. taxes alone are about $3450. So about $145 of the payment is just to pay MD taxes. How does that deal sound?

Honestly keep an eye on the Marketplace never know what deals show up between now and quarter end.

Checking if this is a good deal and if i have scope to negotiate more

Lease payment - 615.41
Base -557.44 plus tax -57.97

Drive off fee -2100
Remaining 23 payments.

MF-0.0016
Residual-53572

Lease term -24 months for 10k

Need to know msrp, discount, and applied incentives

It says msrp- 70490
Sale price- 68669

Rebate-7500

Total after discount- 61169

License-1200
Doc fee-200

seems the price isnt much off msrp but $7500 is a lot of rebates. How are you getting that much rebate on a lease. what are the rebates?
