If dealers aren’t giving the $7,500 credit, they are pocketing the $7,500, meaning the new buyer isn’t going to get the 7,500. Means a much higher payment overall by $7,500. That is my logic here at least.
Went to look at another EV Caddy, and our local dealer said they aren’t offering the $7,500 credit. Dealers are taking advantage of people who aren’t knowledgeable about these things. A neighbor got the Ioniq 9 since the dealer wasn’t going to offer it.
Ohhh I agree. I would be asking for DAS if it is a cheap lease LOL. I even asked my neighbor to just ask for $2000 DAS and settle on $0 if needed. He said he just wants to get rid of it and doesn’t need a third car.
I personally think the lyriq looks good on paper but few owners have spoke with, don’t really like it for whatever reason. That could be it also. I do see many lyriq on private transfers like how there were so many i7 late 2024/early 2025.
