How did you get the GM supplier? The dealer I’m working with says it doesn’t qualify for GM supplier, and can someone with conquest CO sign the loan and get you the 3000 rebate?

Your dealer is probably thinking of supplier as in a discount by model/trim off invoice I would nicely remind them that for the EVs it is a cash allowance and CAN be combined with conquest. Tell them this is the “GM Supplier EV Allowance” (GSE) program

https://www.gmsupplierdiscount.com/vehicles/

For the EVs in September it is a $1k cash allowance for Blazer EV, Equinox EV, and Lyriq, If you go for the $100k+ GMC Hummer EV, Sierra EV, or Chevy Silverado EV it jumps to $2k.

Keep in mind while supplier can be combined with conquest and other rebates, it cannot be combined with First Responder/Healthcare worker/Educator/Military/etc.

Thank you so much for this reply. I’m going to call them tomorrow with this information. Hoping they will be aware of this upon research. How hard was it to get this dealer to do these rebates and discount for your lyriq? You got an amazing deal.

It wasn’t hard. I had the authorization printed for the supplier (and healthcare worker but couldnt use it). Had a copy of the title, insurance card and photo ID for family member who owned qualifying conquest vehicle.

Obviously you don’t want to bring to their attention you qualify for thousands in rebates, focus on the dealer discount. Perhaps counter intuitively considering telling them you don’t qualify for the $7500 tax credit so they don’t try to bury a weak $3k dealer discount. Once you get a higher dealer discount then pivot to leasing and whip out your incentives. That would be my strategy.

was the dealer discount something you negotiated or that was the “supplier” discount? If it was the supplier discount, then very few will be able to get any dealer to do that if they dont qualify for supplier

Negotiated dealer discount. Supplier is a program - for the EVs it is fixed amount $1k for the Lyriq, Equinox EV, Blazer EV and $2k for the GMC Hummer SUV/SUT and Chevy Silverado EV/GMC Sierra EV

How much down and where? I’m in so cal and would love a deal close to this

Nice work on this. Regarding the 7500 EV tax credit. Does this still apply to EV leases? Was it in this deal somehow? thanks
