thank you for data point

Dang that seems like a great deal, especially since you got 15k miles. Congrats!

Good deal for me. So, was the lease signed on Oct or Sept?

October month

Are you sure you got 16.4% off before incentives? with this discount, the numbers should have better I think. Do you have all the numbers with you to throw in calculator?

Hey, did you get back the full amount of the $7500 EV tax credit and was that taken as a discount off the MSRP? Or did the dealer keep some of it? Sixteen percent discount is strong, but I imagine that the dealer always takes the free money to make a deal, and to protect his margin. Supposedly GM found a loophole to keep the credits but only through the month of October. I would imagine that the price should have been lower, but they probably marked up your MF. They like doing that since most people don’t notice. Anyway, thanks for the terms of the deal.

GM has been baking in the $7500 credit into their residual value (by elevating the residual value from what it should be)

How much was the Courtesy Incentive? And how many miles required for a car to get the incentive?

Thx

That was before. I was wondering if things changed this month since the residuals dropped across the board in their lineup.

I think the 7500 is no longer being baked into the residuals but is being given to the dealers directly as cash to apply to deals.

Wow… that is isane

There is no $7500 anymore as of October 1. Tax law changed.

GM is continuing to offer it as an incentive through Oct 31 (out of their own pockets, as they tried to do a loophole to claim the tax credit but the federal government shut them down)

They are offering 6K to prop up the residual. The dealer adds it manually into the calculation to boost the residual from the low 70s into the 80s. Hurry, the money runs out at the end of the month and disappears like a ghost at midnight on Halloween.
