@joshlmul is this for the Premium sport AWD still? Trying to see how much difference it would make in my case since I can’t qualify for the Clean Energy and MyFirstEV rebates.
This is just for a standard RWD luxury
Are these vehicles demos? I’m on the east coast. I’ve talked to 3 dealers with demos and they are only willing to give $5000 off, but I have not tried to negotiate on non-demos, figuring it couldn’t be any better. The level of rebates that you guys in CA get is crazy. I’m only able to stack $2500. No MyFirstEV or any power company rebates. I’m struggling to get a base sport or luxury down to below $500/mo before taxes and fees.
This isn’t a demo, just a new model. Would certainly be open to a demo premium sport or luxury tho
I got a lux on Sunday, 15k/yr 24 months 2k drive off $500 per month. I think its gonna get worse in November at least in socal
hope you took this deal!
@adamgerzoff the deal you got was with MyFirstEV included? What makes you think that November prices will be worse?
Quoted the following for a retired loaner 2026 Optiq Luxury with 1000 miles on it. Note: I do not qualify for MyFirstEV or any other utility rebates, so I only have $2500 from GM Employee (through my brother) and $500 for GM credit card sign up.
MSRP: $53295
Dealer Price before incentives: $49245 (~7.8% discount)
Rebates: $3000
MF: 0.00172
Residual: 72%
Monthly with taxes and fees: $383
Drive-off: $4000
I am seriously considering this given the low MF and decent dealer discount on it. Thoughts?
push for ~10% off for loaners.
I was able to negotiate 9.3% off of a loaner, but it had closer to 2000 miles. Unfortunately they would not budge on the $1500 of dealer add-ons, so I ultimately gave up on them. I may try again at the end of the month. I’m in NC.
@azcdasd the dealer seems pretty confident that other dealers in the bay area won’t be able to match or beat this. They said this is the most discount they can add, the car is also at 996 miles driven.
Should I wait hoping for the Costco incentives to kick-in in a couple of weeks? Car has the white interior that I want, exterior is black which is a compromise (would’ve preferred silver or red), but not a deal breaker for me. I have two concerns:
- Lack of inventory on the retired loaners with white interior
- Dealer does other markup with November rate sheet and I don’t get as good a deal
what are the rebates on a 2027 Sport Premium, Money Factor and Residual
You should become a Super Supporter and check Rate Findr, or check Edmunds Forum for that.
Is there confirmation on a new costco incentive?
Nothing from any of the dealers I spoke to, just being hopeful that November brings it back ![]()
